We Care About…

You and your family. When you’re looking for a place to come in from the cold, impersonal world, it’s tragic to find your church just as cold and impersonal.

The Rock Hill church of Christ believes that warmth, concern, and personal contact are essential parts of true Christianity. We care about people and have continued to prove it through the years to the community through counseling, and other community services.

We’re here and we care about you and your family. Let us show you.

Simple religion. Much of modern day religion is terribly complicated and seems to be continually changing its beliefs to fit the latest trends.

We, however, don’t think that God ever intended that religion should be that way. The Christianity taught, believed, and practiced in our day should be as simple and stable as it was in the earliest days of Christianity, and should be as easy to find and understand as opening up your own Bible to the New Testament. Such simplicity, the way God originally designed it, makes for deeper, fuller, richer, more spiritual worship and living. Our desire is to be “just Christians” —unhyphenated, uncomplicated, and stable.

We’re here and we care about simple religion. Come worship with us.

Bible study. What more authoritative and accurate source could anyone find regarding religion and spiritual matters than God Himself? And since the Bible proves itself to be God’s very own words, we care about Bible study.

So, we provide free opportunities for Bible study for our community including Sunday morning and Wednesday evening Bible classes for all ages, streaming video classes during our regular meeting times, private Bible studies, Vacation Bible Schools for children, and Bible correspondence courses.

We’re here and we care about Bible study. Come study the Bible with us.

Religious unity. A world that is already so terribly torn apart, divided, and sub-divided doesn’t need a divided, confusing Christianity, too. Jesus expects unity of His followers (John 17:21). Yet, those that call themselves Christians remain badly divided.

In the interest of true religious unity, then, we propose a different, though very old approach. We would like to plead that all who would follow Jesus give up their man-made creeds, traditions, and organizations and embrace the Bible as their only authority for religion, because it has been these man-made things which have built the barriers between people and divided the religious world. Our God is not a God of division and confusion but of unity and understanding.

We’re here and we care about religious unity. Come restore pure New Testament Christianity with us.

Eternity. Where will you be, when you get where you’re going?

Each person’s eternity, like all physical destinations of this life, will be determined by the path that you have been walking—the way you’ve been living your life. Jesus said, “I am the way…no man comes to the Father except by Me,” (John 14:6). Where you spend eternity depends directly upon what path you decide to put your feet on in the here and now. We believe that there can be no greater question in life than the question of your own eternity.

Part of our being concerned about you and your family is that we are also concerned about your eternity. We care that you know what God’s word says about where you stand with God now, and how you can make certain that you and your family spend eternity in Heaven.

We’re here and we care about eternity. Come find out about your eternity for yourself in the Bible.
